Terms of Use

What you are being given access to, what it costs, and what it does not promise.

Who is offering this

This site and the platform behind it are operated by Paolo Bonacchi, an individual based in Milan, Italy, reachable at pbonacchi@gmail.com. There is no company. Using the demo means accepting what is written here.

It is a beta test, and it is free

Nothing here is for sale. No payment is taken, no invoice is issued, and no plan can be purchased. A demo workspace costs nothing and creates no commercial relationship of any kind.

The platform is in beta test. Features may change, be removed, or not work. Most of it has not been proven end to end against a deployed environment, and where that is the case it is not claimed otherwise.

What a demo workspace is for

It is for evaluating the platform. It is not a production system, it is not backed up on your behalf, and there is no service level, uptime commitment or support obligation.

Do not run real business operations in it, and do not enter other people’s personal data into it.

A workspace is created with a trial period. When that ends it is not deleted: it continues on the free plan, with the limits that plan carries.

Acceptable use

While using the demo, you agree not to:

  • break the law, or use it to harm anybody;
  • attempt to reach data belonging to another workspace, or to circumvent the access controls;
  • probe, load-test or attack the infrastructure without written permission;
  • upload malware, or content you have no right to upload;
  • resell, sublicense or present the platform as your own.

Security research is welcome, and the way to do it is to write to the address above first. See the repository’s security policy for how a report is handled.

Suspension and deletion

A demo workspace may be suspended or deleted — for abuse, for a technical reason, or because the beta ends. Reasonable notice will be given where that is possible, and you can export or ask for your data before it goes. Where abuse is ongoing, it may not be possible.

Who owns what

The platform, its source code, its design and its documentation belong to Paolo Bonacchi. Nothing here grants you a licence to any of it beyond using the demo as offered. The data you enter into your workspace remains yours, and you can ask for a copy or for its deletion at any time.

No warranty, and what is not excluded

The demo is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and without any promise that it will be available, correct, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent Italian law permits, the operator is not liable for loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including any right you have as a consumer under Italian law.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes go to the courts of Milan, Italy, unless you are a consumer, in which case you keep the right to bring proceedings where you live.

Changes

These terms change in the same commit as the service they describe, and the date at the top is the date of that change. Continuing to use the demo after a change means accepting the current version.
